Article Processing Charges (APC) — ACE Journal of Addiction (ACEJA)

ACE Journal of Addiction (ACEJA) follows an Open Access model, so all published articles are freely accessible without subscription barriers. To sustain this, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies to manuscripts accepted for publication after peer review.

When payment is due: The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been peer-reviewed and formally accepted. No fee is charged at submission, and no fee applies to rejected manuscripts.

Fee structure

Article Type APC
Original Research Article USD 250
Review Article USD 250
Case Study / Case Report USD 250
Short Communication / Letter USD 250

Charges are quoted in USD and subject to periodic review; any change will not apply retroactively to manuscripts already under review.

Payment processing: Payments are processed on the journal's behalf by its authorized third-party payment associate, Resol Global. Where an invoice is requested, it will also be issued by Resol Global.

Fee waivers: Full or partial waivers may be considered for authors from low- or middle-income countries, independent researchers without institutional funding, or students, on written request at submission. Waiver decisions are made independently of peer review and have no bearing on editorial outcomes.

No influence on editorial decisions: Ability or willingness to pay has no bearing on editorial or peer review decisions, consistent with the journal's Editorial Independence policy.
